I been seeing 3 or 4"new" red's around the trap area. Here, they always tend to hang out in country communities, you know, houses all on 10 acres side by side and just outside of a town. Most of our red population is found in such a setting because there are so many coyotes that they will get snatched up if they don't stay where the yotes aren't! I will try and snap some photo's, but most of the time i see them it is past dark so it may be a while before i catch them in the daylight again!

The only places I have caught fox are were I have bean trappin the coyotes hard and both times it was near farm yards so I think you fellas are %100 right about the coyotes pushin them. I was at one farm I trap and right in thier yard, 50 yards from the house, hen house and corals is a den of fox's, The farm has 2 irish wolf hounds that seam to care less about the fox and pups. The fox's have not bothers the chickens one bit never ate the cat yet or even stole the dog food from the porch, leads me to belive they are just happy to be livin under the protection of the 2 wolf hounds, who realy hate coyotes. The fox are safe for now but the farmer said come fall when they leave the farm yard and the wife and kids are not watchin them every day, they are fair game same as the yote though lol.
