This is not the ultimate but, with the attached cargo boxes this skimmer has worked well for me for 35 years.

I think tomcat has a good sleigh. Looks like it's light, wide for good floatation, ribs on the bottom for tracking straight. I use a few different types. I have one of the huge "coffin" type with a cover. Although it works great for me, it is heavy and a bugger to move around by hand in the snow if you need to. If you are using it in an area where you will be crossing alot of gravel roads, be sure to put replaceable plastic or metal ribs on the bottom. You can also make one out of culvert material, but you have to find the light stuff. The Alaska guys are using one that's more like "crazy carpet" material. I think they would work great but are expensive.

tomcat has a good set up, the sleigh in its self having low sides you would lose to much equipment But with the addition of the boxes makes it ideal. Light weight and affordable.I used an 8 footer orange trapping sleigh for years with 4 inch sides, if i didn't tarp it up i had to always look through the snow in the sleigh to find what i needed, was always buried. Plus would get very heavy to pull with my bravo.

This is what I use. It's a cross fox made by Northern Sled Works. I absolutely love it. I have gone through quite a few others before this one. It pulls easy even full. I have used it several times to haul out whole adult moose for bait. Once on nothing but frost over tundra. Action packers fit it perfectly and three of the old style Rubbermaid gas cans also fit like a glove. I have also used to to haul logs for fire wood, and broken down snogos. They are a little spendy but well worth it in my opinion.

White, it is 9' long and 28" wide on the inside bottom. I thought I would have problems pulling it through some of my narrow trails but that was never an issue.

Wow White, what a nice sleigh and light to boot. Looks like you don't have enough snow to use it though. Sure wish we had a little snow. We may get some early next week. I haven't hardly been able to set on sign all year so far.
