Run both lines today and the total was One nice female coyote. I beaver broke my figure 8 tie wire and a long tail walked by two weasel boxes and never went in at another he set the trap off and ate a good bit of bait without getting caught and missed another long tail in a mink box. He set the 120 ldl off but never caught him. Then on the way home There were two yotes and all I had was a 22 at 80 yards running! I missed!!! Well some days your the bat and some days the ball.

Congrats on the yote. Sorry about the misses. I could not hit a running coyote if my life depended on it. I have tried too many times.

Check day again. Ended up with 3 yotes and two weasel. The one yote is an exceptionaly large male with a pure white belly. No sign of any beaver . Me and the boys checked the weasel line at home. There were tracks but no takers in the boxes. Our mink box on the pasture slough had the beaver meat bait in it! Well the bone was all that was left. Looks like a mink had been the culprit but there were fresh weasel tracks also so I am not sure who set the trap off but whatever ate the bait pulled the 120 out of the box and even stretched out the #9 anchore wire so??? Next time!

Pulled the line yesterday . We had a big storm and everything was blown in so access was not easy. The first thing I did was unload the old ski doo off the front of the traoiler on the road allowanse and onto the shoulder of the road. Well to my surprise the ditch had 4 feet off soft snow in it and about an hour and a half later I was on my way! I ended up shoveling out the old saffari several times . I ended up with 2 more beaver and 1 mangy yote. All that that I have out now is a half dozen weasel boxes around here.
