no hunting bears for me, but i do shoot a few in the summer when they get to bold at the cabin.

I used to hunt then every year, we are aloud 2 each and for years I filled boh tags. I have not botherd much since I moved up to this part of the country cause there arnt nearly as many up here. The make great sausages, yum.

I haven't for a couple years but I do enjoy bear hunting as well as the meat.
If I can find a reliable source of bait I will try it again. The local "Canada Bread" stopped giving away their spoiled stuff a few years ago so that pretty much ended it for me.

We arnt alowed to bait them here so it was spot and stalk in the loggin blocks for me.

There is a guy here that soaks his bear meat in a tub of vinegar and water.However i don't know the mixture % or for how long.
