Had a few pm's on another site regarding beaver hooks that were used back in the 60's and part of the 70's. Seems not to many know about them. Here are a few pics.

Just thought i would share some old trapping methods for taking beaver using the sturgeon hook. First started using them in 69 up until 75 . A box of 100 hooks was 5 bucks

Many trappers in the area used them when they were legal
