Someone hit a beaver on the road on my way to work this am. I guess i can understand if it was dark and you hit it, but what about the tracks that revealed at least 4 more people ran it over?  Its a 40lb beaver not a squirrel......scary drivers out there. |

The other night there was a fresh skunk on the road i stoped there was no smell said,will pick it up on the way back,
on the way back it was run over about 20 times and really smelling good,so i lost out on a 1/2 ounce of syrup.

At the shop the other day a guy was saying he had a family of coons in his barn all winter.

Saw a road killed beaver and coyote yesterday on the way to work, dang beavers got dams biult right to the ditch line on a main patch road going out into the bush, looks like they were cuttin poplers on the other side of the raod and didnt quite maker back to the water.

Some juvenile raccoon and several nice fox in the last week or so. I hate to see those fox get nailed...
Plus some dipwad ran over 2 ducklings on memorial drive. Its 40kph and flat as a pancake. The person is either so blind they shouldnt be driving or just down right nasty.

The deer fawns are takin a beating lately, they are just gettin big enough to travel with moma but not smart enough to follow her and stay in the ditch. We hit one a few days ago, momma and one crossed the road and went into a field, as we passed them another little fella who was hiddin in the tall ditch grass ran back out infront of us, my buddy locked on the brakes but the poor little bugger ran right under the front tire. I also saw a road killed small ground hog, I am seanin more and more of them this last while, probly sean a doz in the last year, never saw one up here befor thow.
