And was off to check traps. the rain had stopped but the ditches were running like rivers,there would be some wet muddy coons

Not far from the house he picked up a road kill coon it seemed to be in good shape from the headlights of the truck.
He would look it over better when daylight,,,

Comes.checking sets with the flashlight is something else he says as he gets out to check another.
Day light rolls in and he takes a good look at the road kill coon and finds it to be in great shape.....

He adds the road kill coon to the growing pile of critters in the back of the track and moves on to the next set, down,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Driving down the road enjoying a good cup of coffee, life is good he thought. Stopping at his next set he got out but some thing seemed a bit off.

The set location was all tore up, looked like a tornado had gone through. How could this be the trap was double staked on a short chain. What,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

What the heck could have possibly tore the set up that bad, He got out of the truck and started walking towards the set, as neared the set, the culprit became very obvious. There clear as day was a set of,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

then he looked across the field and say a big black wolf with a duke 1/12 on his foot tangled in some brush
