Our weather is not getting any better. We are under an excessive heat warning till late next week.. Daily highs will be near 100 F and the heat index between 105 and 115 F

White most everyone is alrerady done with Hay. They started a month early cause of the weather. Some are still hauling but most cutting and baling is done. In another week or so, if we do not get rain, there will be nothing left but weeds and Johnson grass to bale anyway. When it is this hot, the Johnson Grass becomes toxic and will kill the cattle or horses that eat it.

At 2PM, I checked my thermomater. it is 102 F (40 C) and the heat index is 106 F. The saving grace is that the wind is out of the south at 16mph gusting to 23 MPH.Whew It is hot....
