Knee finally got done on Wednesday and now that the weather has turned nice and the ice has left the lake today i have to sit for six weeks. What to do? Wife says i should take up knitting...lol . The suckers are going to be running soon and walleye season opens in a couple of weeks. This is really going to suck till June.

So far has not been very good, the pain killers make me sick so i stopped taking them which just causes me to feel that much more worse. Friday will have to visit wound clinic and go from there. As of yet i cannot put no weight on leg and if leg is down it seems to swell. Soon i hope this will start to improve and be a little more mobile. Yesterday my son ran the air hose up to the deck so i could work on finishing the tops of my weasel boxes with the brad nailer, he had a nice set up for me. Not to long into that project i put a brad nail through my middle finger and out my nail. He had to run and get pliers to pull the nail out. That ended everything for me as the wife put a stop to it all.

Hope you are feeling better this afternoon. One thing about pain, if you let it get ahead, it is real hard to rein in.

Did the pain in your finger make you forget about the pain in your knee??? LOL
Sounds like you need to get your knitting needles out and chill out until your back to 100%
Take care Rob.

....Wolf, had my knee done last year in Aug, had to see the Dr. in Sept. he checked on my mobility. Said you are doing great, you must have been doing your exorsizes, no I said, I had to get my winters wood in so I went into the woods two weeks after the operation, and cut 8 cords of firewood. He said I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself by doing that, and your mobility is that good there is no need for you to come back for futher check-ups.
