What is your thoughts on sheeps wool that you buy from a trapping outfit or wool that has been just sheared from a sheep.
I stopped at a farm that had 9 sheep killed last year that were killed within a 2 week time period. She said she would give me all the fresh sheared wool that i would need. In return, if she has problems with K9s this year she wants me to come and catch them for her. Shes only about 5 miles from me.

I have used raw wool for a lure holed in the side of a dirt hole set as well as to cover the bait down a dirt hole(makes them have to dig for the bait) and it work, I am not sure if it worked any better than crumpled grass over the bait or lure on a stick. I did cach one with just a good sized pile of it against a backing with some giuding and a blind set in front of the wool thow. So it wont hurt anything for sure but if you do any amount of real testing let us know how it works out for you, maybe you are on to a realy good idea.

I'm going to use as fuzz described. I was wondering if the fresh odor of sheep would help also rather than buying washed wool from a trapping supply store
