Me and the youngest daughter ran part of our line today, it was her B day and I was happyer that heck that she wanted to come trappin with me on it. I let her drive the skidoo alittle and she figured that was pretty cool. The wolfs came to our bait pile but there are only one or 2 and they are not usin the trails in the brush, and never looked at the pee post sets, but I think we have somthin new to throw at them next time we go over there. We did manage to pick up one squirrel in a martin set and then we shot another one so we didnt get skunked any way lol.

Thanks SS. Yasterday I pulled one of my little martin lines that hasnt produced much this year, I ended up with 1 squirrel lol. I set up a snare site on a new farm the other day and the farmer phoned today and told me I was the proud new owner of a nice little red fox, he hung it up for me and I will get it tomorow. Never expected to catch a fox there with the amount of coyote trax we found. It is gettin late for coyotes here, they are ruttin prity hard now and the fur is gettin worn out, but this farmer is helpin with fuel for me to do it and this way I get acsses to the 800 akers he is on as well as a a bigger area he leases, so a few wore out coyotes could pay off nicely for next season.

As the seasons go buy I am gettin to know more and more ranchers and farmers in my area and alot of them are askin me to come and trap thier spreads. And as I trap them most give me huntin privlages too, more then a few of the farmers I trap for have told me I am the only one allowed to hunt trap or be on thier place, so treat it like your own. sure makes it noce when they do that.

It is amazing how the word spreads. I had land I could have trapped this year that I never got to.
