I snared my first coyote of the season this mornin, got him on a trail they were usin from time to time. I used one of them siniker kill springs and it worked great he hardly nade a mark on the trail. he is just off the trail in a small clump of willows I hope this is the weasel that hase bean stealing the bait out of my dirt hole set, I set the box just a few feet away from the dirt set. He sure did get him self caught didn't he  and last but not least I caught fox #3 in the same set that I caught #1 in, unfortunatly the *&R$^%%$#&^*&ing coyotes found him first There are now 4 sets within spittin distance of were this fella was killed. I should have had 2 more coyotes this am but this darn freaze thaw weather is freazin my traps down faster than I can redo them

Ya White when them snare springs work right they do a great job, you can reset the same place no problem. I hope the fox will redeam him self in coyote hides lol. I didnt use the fox carcuss as a set, I was not sure how to set it and not just catch birds, or blend the set into light snow.

Fuzz sorry to see that you lost the Fox, maybe three yotes hides will be worth more than the one Fox. Good luck with your revenge. Nice pic's too. Thanks for posting them.

We had a great day on the line today, started the mornin off with a coyote. he was kinda frosty as it was -17C this mornin, this was the set that I bumped the coyote off of the other day, befor the high speed persuit. Next we found the first martin of the year I wasnt happy with how he got caught but he didn't seam to last long as the bark was not tore up. This is also the lightest color martin I have ever caught. Then came coyote #2 of the day, this is a remake set that caught the first 2 coyotes of the year, so the #3 coyote of the year at this set was my first back foot catch ever. Now how he got his back foot is beyond me, but I will takem how ever I can getem. I forgot to take the camera with me so I had to take a pick of #3 coyote of the day after I got her home, I caught her in a snare.
