That is the first this year, 2 years ago, I caught 4 in cage traps. Set on sign, bait them and leave em alone and stay away from them except to relure about every 5 days or more often if it is real cold. I relured that one on Monday with vasoline and skunk essence

Yes white, that is a homemade cage trap. I made three of them, each a little bigger than the previous. They are made out of 6 ga horse panels. They are heavy but very sturdy.

I ran the three lines this morning and had one coyote in a snare.

I ran all the lines this morning. All empty. 23 traps, 22 snares, 2 cages,14 buckets

I had another day of no catches. I pulled my East line. It was a 15 mile round trip and had been in for 10 days with no catches. I was seeing coyote tracks and an occasional Fox track. I had three tripped traps during the 10 days. Dug up by a yote. I may go back after the snow gets off.

good luck H, thats trapping for you. One day good next day bad. At least your seeing some yote sign which is encouraging.

The coyotes are moving real hevey right now. They just are not checking out sets and getting caught. I think I will put my West line back in now. It is closer and the yotes are back over there.
