Wolf the darker colored ones are worthless. The fur Buyers will only take the Jumbo Silvers, at leat around here.

White, I think my record for the most grinners in one check was 2 years ago, 9 of the lovely little crittters blessed my traps  The really bad thing about those possums, they eat turkey eggs, turkey chicks and the predators won't touch them. The vultures here won't hardley even eat them unless they are the only thing available to eat. |

Had four coons and one possum this morning. 3 Coons on the creeks, 1 coon on the edge of a harvested corn field and the possum on the same corn field. These seem a little thin. Weighed between 12 -15 pounds   |

One lonely possumn this morning off the creek. The creeks are froze and will most likely stay that way for a few days. Deer season opened this morning at daylight. I saw three small bucks and 11 doe. I did not take one. My son is coming home tomorrow and we will hunt for a few days together. It has been 2-3 years since we were able to hunt together. So I will wait, unless something hugh comes along.
