Well today m y son finished his 40 hour trapping course and the final day was in my garage. He skinned 1 beaver and boarded, 1 otter , skinned fleshed and boarded and 2 marten. Wrote his test and got 100%. He is very proud and my self well i can't say anything.Next week i will take him out to show him a few tricks on taking beaver through the ice as i left a few houses just for this purpose. Next year he will be the boss on the line and i will be there only for some pointers.i am one proud dad right now

Good job. Your son is very lucky to have a dad with a trap line and the know how to manage it properly. He will benefit from your knowledge and i'm sure his fresh view on trapping will teach you a few things also.

Yes white i'm not going to trap full time anymore after this season. Just going to go out once in awhile and check out to see how is doing.
Yes Greg he has plans already and ideas
