How many of you guys use foot holds with dirt hole,flat set etc for k9s.How successful are they.

I use them for the first part of season till the wether is cold enough to start snarring, if it is to warm and you snare a coyote the start to roght fast. If the coyote is alive in a foot hold his hide is fine till you get there in the morning. I catch quit afew most years in foot holds, they are very efective once you get the hang of settin them and pickin the right spots to set them.

Very effective like fuzz said location is very important.

Like Fuzz, I use foot holds then throw in the snares in the weather gets cold. I average about 50/50 between foot holds and snares
