I hate to see that around my trapping areas. Everytime i see a dead one i think to myself, " there goes another one of my coons!". I just never think about the idea that I may have never even caught them anyway! Still..... temporarily hurts my moral!

I am the exact same way when I see a raod killed fox, even worse is when I see a road kill moose,,first thing I always think is there is enough wasted meat and burger to feed a family for most of a winter.

Realy. I had 1 I was trying to trap a year or 2 ago. Nice sized tracks. Was where a creek crossed under the little highway (1 lane in each direction, plus shoulders). Drove by 1 day, and it had tried to cross over the road instead of under it. Didn't make it. No more tracks after that. Was a nice size, but it was in to bad a shape to mess with.
