Ha ha ha. Funny story now. I splurged this fall and bought myself a brand new ski doo tundra got 50 Klm's on it and it won't start ! All that bait to get out and I spend my first day off from hunting I spend it trying to start my 8000 dollar piece of crap!! I dont even know how I will load it. Wrap a chain around the middle in a Choker and lift it with the front end loader. Lol.

If your yotes eat all that, they will look liker porkers. We cant use domestic for bait.

I set up one yesterday. It was Where I had put the extremely large sow I recieved. They had been hitting it great and it was a easy set up. I was packed to set up more but all this fresh snow narrowing down good sets is tough becaause all the tall grass is gone . Going to let them bait simmer for a couple days and it should be like fish in a barrel ! ya right

Are the coyotes feeding on those yet ? We were just talking about this the other day and the consensus was that it take a long time for coyotes to start feeding on pig carcases.
What happened that you would get that many dead hogs ?

Well I had that sow out for three nights and the yotes and buzzard had her half consumed already. She probably weighed 350-400 pounds. As far as the hogs u just have to know the right people. Was an accumulation of dead from a long time.

What happened that you would get that many dead hogs ? i should mention that I always try to open them up so the birds have a place to start. If you leave them in there unopened wrapper it takes a long while I even take an axe to them if they are frozen solid .

Ok i am looking for some ideas. I came into LARGE load of bait. It was to much for my half ton .Should of brought my 1 ton. Anyways , some of them are huge(talking 400+lbs)do you think if I let them freeze and then cut them in half with my chain saw the bar oil would turn the yotes off? Maybe I am over thinking this but they are way to big for me to even think of getting into my baits with a ski doo short of dragging them down the middle of the road! lol jk . On a plus side I wont need any more large bait, I will still give them butcher scraps from the nieghbor to keep it fresh because no one likes to eat pork all the time.
