I would buy Belisle 120 super X as they are approved for fisher as well as marten and they work great on fisher.

If your using running poles the 220.

The biggest fisher trapper i know catches 50 to 60 a season all in 220s

I'm just curious and want to learn more about this. What makes the 220 better over the 160? We catch alot of coons in the 20 lb. range in 160's, so why don't they work for fishers? Just curious!

Hey J Fisher can be caught in the small 120s and 160s in cubbies
but most fisher trappers use pole sets,and the fisher jumps over the smaller bodygrips thats where the 220 works good
But if your using box cubbies the 160 is the trap of choice.

I have been deciding that also! I have always used 220's but the smaller fisher are on occasion getting through farther than I wanted,
I always set tree sets, last year I was experimenting, and I will be going with the 160's from now on, only because! I catch alot of small, medium fisher, The 160 keeps them centred more in the trap! Yes I have no problem with the larger fisher in the 160, the way I set the tree up!
Once they decide to commit to the Trap!
