I know when you fleash mink you are supposed to leave the sadle on them. On the 2 I have done so far they were so fat I could not leave the sadle on and get the fat off so the pelt would dry. I talked to the fella who runs the NAFA depote here and he said he has the same problem with his mink. He didn't think he had ever bean down graded becouse of this though and I don't think mine were iether, Is this just cause our northern mink have thicker leather??? Do you fellas have this prblem and do you feel you were down graded cause of it, or can you get the fat out from under the sadles on your mink?

Ive done it both ways and never noticed a price difference and never discounted any I was buying because of it. Personaly I like the looks of a saddleless mink but thats just me.
