I was haulin gravel for a farmer friend of mine yesterday, and he had said befor I could trap his place, Well as I was truckin in and out of his place he was showin me all of the trails roads and fields on is place and I think I am going to clean up on the coyotes there and he was also sayin this year he has sean alot of fox too, YIPPIE I would rather skin a $20 red than a stinkin old coyote even if I get a few more bucks for the coyote, fox are just nicer. This spring I was at his house and he intraduced me to another nabor of ours and as soon as the fella found out I trap wolf and coyote he said I could trap all his land too. Well as we were hallin gravel my friend starts pointin out all this other fellas land, now I new he had a big cattle farm but it turns out he has 16 sections of land I am going to be short on traps for sure this year lol. So all this plus my normal trap line, I hope I stay workin for a bit now cause with all this ground to cover I won't have time for workin this winter ;D

camp now that is a 4 letter word that could get your mouth washed out with soap around here ;D. I have to go do a little pipe line clean up tomorrow, but it sounds like a 1 or 2 day affair, and home every night, the way it should be.

Camalot I do nead more traps but for now I am just going to have to make do with what I have, for coyotes I have almost 4 dozz but I am going to use alot of snares once the snow sets in.
White I just might lol. I hope to have alot of good catch pix this winter, with that much territory to cover I should be able to get a few critters.

One thing we've done in the past Fuzz on big properties that seem overwhelming and we were short a little steel was to trap it in chunks. Per weather and value of course we would be species specific too. Unless it was an ADC setup there wasnt much use chasing $5 yotes 1 mile from the road when possums were bringing $5 S&D and were 20 feet from the truck, coons were $25 etc. Congrats and enjoy the windfall.

I wonder is any of us will ever suffer having too much land to trap?
