I used some of ogormans Plenty o coyote, I think it was called and it worked real good, I am rotting down 3 jars of glands as we speak to try and make some of my own.

I like homemade gland lure and commercial lure for late winter yote and fox. Just another weapon in the arsenal. We use the really strong lures as a call lure and like it placed higher up so the prevailing winds can catch it.

I love a good gland lure, and one of the best ways to use it is to mix a portion of the prepared glands right in with your urine and let it soak and age for a while. It will work much like a tea bag works in water. It will make the urine have a much stronger spore odor. Just give it a good shake right before use and use a squirt bottle to apply. Bits and pieces of the gland will also go out with the gland/urine mix. 8 oz. of prepared glands to 1 gal. of urine.
Many who use glands say if you use glands you don't need urine as it is close to the same but the glands are much stronger. I still like the mix myself.
