This marten did not get out of the cubby,and the mice chewed a spot of hair out of its back,,the most important part of fur on the animal. I was not going to send it in to the auction,,but i did got over $30

That sounds like a pretty good price, but I know nothing about a martin or what they usually bring. It's a shame that happened though, I am guessing it would have brought a great deal more had the mice not violated it?

I am always afraid of that but as of yet the little buggers have not touched a martin on me,,,,yet.

I only had 2 marten last season that the mice got at,,all the rest were fine.

I had 1 coon that something got at,,but only damaged the belly i had to cut the window a little bigger than usual but it turned out fine.
