We got around, went to mass, then off to Mom's. She had the old barn torn down before it fell down and is having a new one built. I hadn't seen the place since the old one had been removed. Really sad to see it gone, but it was in bad shape and I fell through the hay loft floor cleaning it out before the destruction. Only to my knee though so other than a scratch and a few choice words, no harm done.  The new barn is framed up and ready for metal though and looking pretty good. The next time I see it, it will probably be fully enclosed and ready for a concrete floor in 1/3 of it, which is where I come in. I thought I was a retired concrete finisher ( and roofer) but this summer seems to be pulling me out of that state of mind. |

Had to work today,,so i get tomorrow off.
I will try to get the fire wood finished tomorrow.
I see the gas tank is leaking on my truck right under the strap
Its not leaking bad,,but got to get it fixed soon.

How long do you hang your hogs Mr. White? I have never done one solo but the 1 I helped with was in January in Iowa and it was dang cold (for me). I think it was around zero and the wind was blowing at a pretty good clip too. That one only hung overnight, but it didn't take long to freeze in the freezer. |

yea a guy I bowhunt with has a cooler.container off a old ice deliver truck with a 110 ac unit in the place of the reefer unit.. .5 days hanging on a hog ..week to ten days on beef...
