Well yesterday was openin mornin of our water foul season up here, and my oldest daughter and I have not missed an opener since she was 4. Yesterday was no exeption. We usualy go goose hunting but we coudn't find and swathed pee/barly or wheet fields because it has bean so wet these last couple of weeks so we went puddle jumpin for ducky's instead. We saw a few but only got a shot at one,,thank fully I hit it and we wernt skunked lol yes it took more than 1 shot but that is beside the pint lol. Britt fetherd it and filleted the breasts off it her self and washed them up. Later I wrapped them in tin foil with bacon,apple,rasins and a little salt and pepper. It turned out to be one of the best eatin ducks I had ever shot, probly cause of her butcherin lol.
