I remember seeing a trap collection for sale it had 2 traps like that in different sizes.

I know a fella who colects traps here and I saw some of those in a displat he had at a convention, I will send him an email and ask, now I have no idea how ofter he checks his email so this may take time too.

My friend got back to me about this trap, here is what he said:
Hi Garnet,it is a Brownlie ring trap,not that old and not worth much,unless you can find a collector that wants one.I would estamate its value at about 20.00.The crash in the US economy has drastically reduced old trap values as they were the main consumers.
Hope this helps some, still a very cool trap even if it isint worth a fortune.
