Maxwell I bought 1 "williams" 12X12X36 live trap many years ago. Using it as a pattern I have made 20 - 12X12X36, 10 - 9X9X36, and 8 completely covered in traps from light weight sheetmetal and aluminium. This past week I just finished a new version a 6X6X26 for skunks, with a full 6 inch door opening, going to see if the old saying, that a skunk can't sprey if it can't lift it's tail works. All these are for my own use, but I have given a couple to some close friends.

A friend of mine traps skunks on running poles,he said if there back feet don't touch the ground, they can't spray.

Cage traps arent hard to make. One door styles are pretty sraight forward. Trigger is the hardest thing to figure but we just use a rod hooked over the pan edge and ran thru a washer to hold the door open. You can set it very light too.
