I bet it wil cause the beaver price isn't lookin any better so the harvest should still be down.

According to the projections of the last trapper predator caller mag I got, the castor was suppose to hold it's value or see a slight increase. The pelts aren't that lucky unfortunately. We shall see.

Yep, our plews aint worth much either. $5-$10 for finished ones. We wont pursue many beaver till cold water for the meat and late winter for the castor. Kids made more on the castor from the few winter beaver last year then the we would have from the whole seasons worth of plews. As long as plews are down/worthless then the castor should hold steady or I would expect a price increase.
