catman i think our coon will be locked up for the winter before you get started. I'll bet your right! We typically get about 2 weeks of good coon trapping before it gets nasty and they start laying up. Does yours make it that long before they are locked up?   |

It all depends on the temperature but 10 days to 2 weeks is about
right then we get a few ,,in mild spells.
Can't wait till they prime up.

i'm a little confused,{ before they lock up} is that when they den for the winter or don't move as much, i don't no nothing about coon

Yes wolf when we get a steady - 5 or so the coons lock up
[ den up for the winter ] how ever the do run a bit if we get a
few mild days together.

First catch in a Duke trap.  Canada certified the Duke 160 & 220 for raccoons so i bought a dozen to try..so far i like them. |
