Getting hard to find snare support wire,,one time most of the local hardware store's,had it on hand,now i can't get any.

What kind of wire are you runnin for suport wires?? I found some wire cheep at princess auto, I think it is 14ga, I use it most of the time. I have some other stuff that I use as a support and to ancor the snare it was 11ga I think and I found it at the feed supply store.

White i know you set your snares different with support wire than i , you like a stiff wire to come out from tree for your snare support . All i use is rebar wire for all my snares. Suspended. If your looking for #9 wire i can help you out

Hey wolf #9 i never used anything that heavy before thanks for the offer. A farmer friend gave me some today about 70 feet i guess its copper coated very stiff wire. I like #11 and i double it,I have even used wire coat hangers before.

I use #11 too, but I have not been able to find a local source for it. I usually order several rolls from the trapping supply house when I have a big list to order. Helps on shipping a little.
