Who has used it for winter trapping? I read a article in fur, fish and game about its use.

I have never heard of it being used for trapping. But i don't see why it wouldn't work 100% odorless. many of our trappers use road salt[ CC ]with great success. perlite has many use's.

Isn't perlite little tiny beads of styrofoam used for insulation, mixing with soil for potted plants etc?

Neat stuff. I would try it for snow trapping, it would be a great final cover. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
