To day I had a coyote run threw a power snare and pull it right out of the clump of willows it was ancord in, the tie wire was pulled right down to the bottom of the spring eye, but it didnt fire. It looks like the crimped nut that holds it set got kinda jamd in the notch and never let it fire Have any of you had a simeler problem?? Not sure how it could have pulled that hard and not fired it

Check all the trigger slots on your power snares. Some of them might have small sharp burrs n them from the stamping process, preventing the button stop from sliding off. Take a small file to them if they are rough and polish the square cut slots a little bit. Also, when setting the snare in the slot, make sure the button stop, or nut, is crossways to the hole. I use power rams alot and have never had the problem you had, but I have noticed the rough slots and had the odd homade snare sit awkward in the slot. Be extremely careful with the rams and ALWAYS use a Ramlock or similar when you are setting. Do not remove the Ramlock until the set is complete and you are ready to back away.
