A mechanic found this on a new car he was working on in Duluth Mn. The car was on a lift when it was found. Another guy pulled the mechanic out of the way when he seen this thing hanging from its web from under the car.

also found an egg sack.
this kind of stuff is just unheard of around here.

Nice widow... yuck!!!! I have done a great deal of study on brown recluse spiders. Shipping containers/ products are the #1 most common way for them to spread to places they have never been before. I imagine the widow is exactly the same way.

No amount of bait will replace a trap well placed.
