Well I have been told that I need to remodel the two bathrooms. I have already been measuring and making lists. I suspect that I had better get this done as soon as trapping season ends or I will be in here redoing walls and ceilings when I should be out fishing. I need to squeeze a little beaver trapping in betweeen bathrooms and fishing. Wish me luck... Did I mention that I hate to paint?

Well fuzz and SS i'm in my 6 th week of awful time and the most awful is seeing you guys post all your catches why'll my season is over till next year.( big time jealous that you are still going at it) Makes me want to go at again every time i see your nice fur pics..lol. So my other awful time is spent fishing for lakers and walleye. When summer hits in June then she has a list for me as well to take my mind off of trapping.

This was the my first year trapping critters other than beaver i had a blast but quit January 6th. I lasted a whole 15 days before I put a few beaver traps under the ice...... ;D and have been asked by a coworker to clean beavers out of another spot. Both are on the way home from work so its no out of pocket expense for me. I'm not going to go hog wild after beavers, but I have at least got something to putter around with. Here is the first beaver I ever trapped through the ice. Got it Saturday, 57lbs.

our main season closes in Mid-Feb. Beaver keeps going on alone, till the end of march. I normally trap a few, just to kinda help wind down so I don't get cabin fever to bad. Here, not long after season, white bass and walleye will start up, so I guess I will start gearing for fishing come March.

If you have any of these symptoms, cold chills, dizziness, sweats, lack of ambition and blurred vision. Go open the door on your bait refridgerator and take a wiff. It works for me. I'm only going to be able to use those excuses for so long before the wife puts me to work.
