Annual trappers workshop and dinner

Saturday was our workshop and dinner, here are some pics. Was a very busy 4 days but everyone had a good time and you might even recognize a few people.Bird house building for the kids,snare making,skinning demos, fur grading from graders from Fur Harvester and NAFA, trap setting competition and much much more. There might have been a bit of story telling going on towards the end ;D




This was the kids skinning weasel program and after they received certificates plus a prise.

We had reps from NAFA, Fur Harvesters from the federation, one of Minnesota's top beaver skinners and many great expert trappers. The dinner was a great success even though we did not do a wild game menu this year. Attendance was over 300 . I have so many pics and these are just a few.Having these work shops and dinners sure brings trappers together as well as the community.

Yes it was a good time white and fuzz. A lot of work for both Friday and Saturday. My legs are killing me from all that concrete floor.But it was all well worth the effort.

Well my left knee has gotten really bad since the fall and am waiting on surgery in march, so i was in charge of picture taking, kitchen help, booth set up,and a little hands on skinning with some new comers as well as some snare set ups.
