What is the average weight of your raccoons.

That is a hard questions. Earlier in the season I weighed 7 coons. Here is the weight in pounds.25.8, 20.3, 21.3, 18.6, 18.10, 12.14, 13.3, The average of this batch was about 15.47, but I would have guessed a little higher. The reason I say that is after the weather turn cold, we usually only catch large boar coons. The 12 and 13 pounder in this lot were sows. If you take the two sows out the average is 20.82 pounds

I suspect either 3 or 4 X on a 7.5 inch wide board

I stretch anything over 32 on a 8 inch board.

Most of the coons that we catch are between 15-20 lbs.
And with Red's 25 lbs coon, it would depend on the build and sex of the coon. Typically if it was a sow, it would be a 3xl-4xl, if a boar 4xl-5xl with 5xl being more likely.
