was wondering what the cradle was made of? Rubber?

The craddle is made of rubber belting I bought at an auction sale, I think it was for a swather maybe. If you get down this way and have not found any belting Oy I will cut a piece of the roll for ya, so far the only piece I have used is that one, still got the whole role lol.
