What does every one think of them, are they worth it or not?? Do they help or are they a gimmick?? What style is your favrite if you like they?? Do you like them better on a long chain and or a drag or on shot chains like the victor sc??

I have never used them either and am personally not convinced they would help that much. But that is just my opinion. If the spring is weak enough that say a coyote can compress it completely, then when completely compressed the spring no londer works. If the spring is so strong that the critter cannot compress it, then there is no give in the systems, so in my mind, where is the benefit?

I did put some on a few traps and they were the cheep coil type springs. It seams that on the longer chaind traps they do soften up the impact when the coyote hits the end of the chain, but not all coyotes fight the trap this way some just go raound and round. I am not so sure of the benifet of of them. I just thought it would be fun to see what you fellas thought of them and your set ups with them.
