Spent a part of yesterday and most of today making receiver hitch rod holders for my fishing buddy and myself. He cheated and bought those expensive rod holders that cost $16 dollars each. I did not want to spend that much so I made my rod holders. We use these because at our favorite fishing spot the bank is near solid rock. You cannot drive a stake into the ground and there is nothing to put the rods on. This is about the 3rd year that we have made something different, but I expect we will use these from now on. Mine is not painted yet, I need to grind the last piece and paint it and we are ready to go.
