Cable stakes all the way. They are light weight, that are east to adapte to the soil in a given area, they are strong, and if driven in right and set, they will not pull out, they cannot be pumped out of the ground. Some types work better than others in hard frozen ground.

For land trappin all I use now is home made cable stakes, couldnt even imagen carryin rebare while coyote trappin any more lol. I still use my old rebar stakes for the water line thow.

I have used Iowa Disposable stakes in the water and have been pretty happy. generally I'll pull them so they aren't disposable to me. I don't like having to clean out the clay from inside, but if i let them dry and work on em in the summer, they clean out easy when you bang em on the concrete. still got lots of rerod, but moving away from it.

I have the heavy duty berkshires on 18" of 3/32" cable. If the soil is decent and I put them in correctly would this hold a wolf?
If not, do you guys ever pound 2 in side by side to make sure?

Cable stakes are strong i tried to jack one out and pop'.ed the ferrules .Would i cable stake a wolf trap no,,,I would have to see pic's of others holding wolves with them.
