How much chain or cable do you use between the trap & stake
swivels 2 or 3 for dirtholes.

I have not decided yet what lenght of chain I like best yet, I have some that are around 1,5 foot and some that are only 8 inchs. Both styles have pro's and con's. As for swivels I dont think you can have to many swivel pionts. I am thinkin I like the shorter chains better cause the coyote gets less of a lunge at the ancore witch I think helps prevent power outs and posible damage to the animal, also any kind of shock spring is better than no shock spring. Just my 2 penneys worth

I like to keep my chain about a foot long with 2 swivels.

I started out at what the factory had on the trap. 12 inches or so. I soon realized that i needed longer chains. I now have 4 ft. of chain and 5 swivels.
