Trap springs

I had bought some victor 2 coil and 4 coil traps awhile ago so i could modify them to what i want in a trap. Upon setting the traps before modifing them,just to compare spring strength. I found out that the 2 coil was harder to set. So i measured the spring diameter and this is what i come up with.

vic 4x4-----.135 spring dia
vic 2 coil---.160 spring dia

Is it worth buying the 4x4?

That is interesting, I would have thought they would use the same springs and just added to 2 extra ones to the 4 coils.
