I just openned a box of trappin goodies I got in the mail today and wow, I had orderd a #9 bridger brawn wolf trap. Them things have got bigger and badder than I remember I can set it by hand but just barly, I think I will be biuldin a pair of setters ;D What a beast. Any body else silly enough to be playin with these???

Yes they arnt cheep, I hagled abit with the out fit I was buyin it from in Edmonton cause I do order a fair bit of stuff from them they gave me the dozzen price on just 1 trap. Still caust $99.97 plus tax lol gota love tax lol. I am sure it will be well worth the investment thow as it is a cadilac of wolf traps, and they ranchers I have bean trappin wolfs for this winter realy want me to keep atit threw the summer and winter to protect thier cows, and they dont mind payin for the trappin.

How is the wolf population.Does it take awhile to catch one ?

Our wolf population is at an all time high right now, as for catchin them once you get onto it they arent any harder than coyotes, but it takes a bit of doing to start catchin them. I got my first one last season and this season I caught 8, I am hopin that over the summer I can get a few more, but this winter when I can set up my bait piles and start snarring them at theses sites to realy increas my catch next year.
