Right now th way the market is I think they are the same year round,,,,,,,,,,,,crappy lol. I could be wrong but I belive the spring hides are better than the fall hides as they might not be fully prime befr every thing ices over, under ice hides from mid winter are supposed to be the absolute best but I have never caught one under ice so that is only what I have read.

Never seen much difference in price between open water- under ice and spring caught beaver.
