I have about 2 dozen traps that I have tried to bend the ends of the jaws up to keep them from popping out. I have tried every tool in my tool chest. What works for you?
Tools tried: Pliers, Channel locks, Vise Grips, cresant wrench, hammer

Fuzz most of the traps I am working on right now are Dules. I tried the bubble thing. I have a small wire welder. I turned it down to what would be the #2 setting and still the end melted immediately and dropped off. Almost ruined that jaw. I am afraid to try it again.

Crap I was afraid they were, they were the hardest to bend cause they didnt leave that much extra to work with. Your little wire fead must have more umpf than mine.

Well, I suppose I could turn it down another notch and try it on the same trap. I fear the jaw end is already too short and that it will easily pop out. So if I ruin it further, I probably have not lost much
