I have a mix of scopes on my guns, I have had great luck with bushnell's and tasco's, of course if ya buy there better higher end scopes you get a better scope, there lower end ones are just that. I put a leupold vari x 3 on my 300mag almost 20 years ago and have never had to resight it yet, it is a 3 to 9 as are most of my other scopes. I have a taso on my 25/06 that has bean there since I was 15 years old and it still gets my deer most years. I have a couple of the bushnell eliet scopes and realy like them.

My go to big game gun is a 300 rum with a Kapps fixed 6 x 42 with a 30mm tube on it. I have real weak spot for the europeon stuff. The light gathering ability is unmatched in my opinion.

Leupold here. Clarity, light gathering abilities with their many coatings, gas filled, durability, selection, water proof, fog proof, shock proof, and an unbelievable warranty. With the goldring scopes, it's life time. Anything happens outside of gross misuse, they will fix or give a new one free with little or no questions. I have had a certain Vari X-3 for years now. They will make a good gun, a great gun.
Swarovski would be a second choice, if I could afford them.
