Yesterday was the openin day of our musk rat and beaver season, so I went out and set a few places just behind my house. Well this mornin I was woke up by a verry exited little trapper who was promised they would be checkin sets this mornin. So we did, and had our best 1 day catch of rats ever.  17 rats and a nice beaver, not too bad for the first check. we still have alot of areas to set in the next week or 2, looks like it is going to be a good year  |

Man that is a great haul Fuzz, I hope you have a great year. We still have a month and a half to think about it before we start.

Ran my line again this mornin and had not a half bad catch, 8 in all. It should have bean higher but my lucky helper went to town with her grandparents instead of out on the line, so I will just be happy I didn't get skunked lol. I did have a first thow, 2 rats in one trap.  even got Mrs Fuzz and Fuzzjr to pose with my double  the days catch  |

Well nother to exiten happend on my little trap line to day, picked up 9 more rats, should have had a few more but I had a miss or 2 and a beaver fould 3 sets on me, the darn ice in the mornins is also not helpin. At 2 sets there were muddy muskrat tracks ontop of the ice right over my trap lol.  |
