Picked up 5 more rats to day,pulled a few sets and am going to set a few more farm ponds and scoop outs in the next few days.

Well I went and ran my line this mornin, and had a little supprize. I found a bunch of my rat sets had bean fould again by a beaver, well in the next set there it was waitin for me, now for the supprize. I had caught it in a #00dls and held it by one toe, them little traps are work horses. Mo and Catman and BWM have officialy converted me to a small double long spring lover, #11, #00. These traps are awsome, they will hold about anything that grows fur.   Also picked up 3 rats, pulled most of these areas today and will be settin some other areas soon. |

I have caught a few beaver in 1 1/2 sls over the years.
But thats the first in a double 0.

I picked up 2 rats this mornin in the few sets I still have out, and picked up a small beaver in a trap a friend from Utah sent me, it used to be one of his favrite traps but jaw spread rules made him quit usin it. I promised him I would put it back in auction,,,So here it is.  |

Not alot of auction on the line this mornin, we had a heck of a wind storm for the last 2 days and I think that may be slowin my rats from finding my sets. We did get afew and set afew more traps too. My helper with the first rat of the day  This was the second rat of the day, Love them #2 jumps for rats, this one was a B&L  Last year I had my very first wring off with a rat, it kinda buged me cause there was no reazon for that rat not to have went down the wire and drowned, well I had a trap in about the same spot as last year and I caught this taday  I cant say for sure that it is the same rat but it kinda makes me think it was. This was the final nose count for the day  |
