Wolf, thank you very much for sharing your trapline stories and the photo's. I am sad to see you hang up your traps for the season.
As far as the buck, I have my sites set on an old buck, he is past his prime and this may very well be his last year. He is huge in body size and has a very tall and wide 6 point rack. He needs to come out of the herd. I have passed up many 8, 10 and 12 point deer. Everyone has to have goals. The 6 point is mine. If I don't get a shot at thim, I will take a couple of doe to eat.

Wow wolf, My season will continue for another 2 months or longer for beaver, but I have a familiar empty hollow feeling in my stomache as your season closes. I really appreciate the tremendous post and journal. Thanks so much for giving us a small piece of your world. You truly are a great trapper and fur handler. I will miss your journal very much and can't wait 'till next season's journal.

Great job! very experienced Trapper not hard to see,, I wish I had one of those machines, the tracks are real plus, It extends your trapping though the heavy snow,, again great job,,  |
