The plainer blades most of the sawmills out here use are very high in nickel, I used to do scrap metal lol. How this efects the fleashin ability of blade, I have no idea, just some useless info lol.

First, thanks for the great post wolf, really enjoyed them. I also want to compliment you on your catches of beavers, rats, and the moose take. Are the cows and calfs better on the table then the bulls? I know with our deer, i"ll take a doe or young one any day over a buck. And then I wanted to tell you that you did a fantastic put up on those beaver pelts, just awesome!!!

Oh that stinks! last year right before season, and while putting out drowners in preperation, I was coming up out of a creek and felt the tendon in my upper calf go "pop". I couldn't hardly walk for a week, but I kept stretching and taking anti-inflamatory meds, and was good enough to make season. I did re-injur it slightly a few times though. I feel your pain and dismay!!!!!

I do not know either of you, but based on the way you talk (write) and what you say, I suspect that you both will suck it up and go trap. A little Ibprophan goes a long way. I lived on it all season last with a herniated disc. Thanks Mohawk for your help when I was down.
